One of the things that stands out is how much better prepared the children are, compared to when I first started. The two stock answers, if asked what they knew about Honey Bees, were: they make Honey or Sting. Now it is: “How much we depend on them for our food through pollination.” and “They help keep the air we breathe clean by pollinating trees that produce oxygen.” The teachers are also taking more notes. It is most gratifying that at break times often there are children at the door with more questions. It makes the effort worthwhile.

I would recommend to any person with time and expertise to offer their service. It is so rewarding.
